‍Healing the roots of anxiety and childhood wounds to create lasting peace and freedom

Adults who want help finding relief for their anxiety and stress. They want to get to the root of their childhood trauma.
Adults who want help finding relief for their anxiety and stress. They want to get to the root of their childhood trauma.

You often feel on “edge” waiting for the other shoe to drop or the “bad thing” to happen…

You rehearse conversations in your head for hours then feel exhausted before they even happen.

You get anxious and stressed when you don’t immediately hear back from your partner or friends.

You’re afraid of setting boundaries with your partner, your boss, your parents, your friends… because of what they might think of you.

You struggle to feel self confident even though on the outside you are successful…

You find yourself people pleasing often at a cost to yourself.

You wonder why you struggle so much today even though your childhood “wasn’t that bad”

People ask you how you feel and you respond with “I don’t know” or you feel numb.

You want to heal from your childhood, but you worry that acknowledging painful experiences isn't compatible with your faith...

You trust in God, yet your mind still feels caught in cycles of worry and overthinking. You long for the peace that is promised but find yourself wondering why anxiety feels so overwhelming

You long for a place where your faith is welcomed, your questions are respected, and your emotional struggles are met with compassion

Helping high achieving adults break from from the relentless cycle of anxiety, perfectionism and self criticism so they can feel calm and confident.

What I do…

I can help you to understand what your anxiety is trying to protect you from and how past experiences may still be shaping your reactions.

We will get to the root of your anxious thoughts and stress responses by paying caring attention and relating to them differently.

I can bring insight into your current struggles and connect them with survival strategies from the past.

I can help you leave these survival and self protective strategies behind to become a less burdened you.

If your Christian faith is important to you, it can be thoughtfully integrated into our work.

If you are questioning your faith or unsure what you believe, therapy can also be a safe place to explore those questions without judgment.

My goal is not simply to help you “manage symptoms,” but to help you understand yourself more deeply and heal the wounds that keep you stuck.
